1. Casting Directors and Agents have repeatedly told us the reason they love doing our workshops is because we always have good, strong, well trained actors, our workshops our fun and they have a good time with us. Let our reputation work in your favor.
2. Performance Showcase is run by actors for actors which means we hold the integrity of the workshops very highly. We deliver the guests we say we are having, we do not supplement associates with assistants or agents with junior agents. We welcome and respect our actors and we create an intimate, supportive, fun environment to do your best work in.
3. We provide a special service in our combing of a casting director guest with a top agent, (often a head of department or an agency owner.) You, the actor get to see both sides of the business as the agent and casting director interact and during the question and answer session. This is also an enjoyable evening for them as they get to meet the person who they often only know over the phone and they get to see the "seller or the Buyer's" perspective.
4. We hold our workshops in our 24 seat Equity Waver, Black Box Theater. It is intimate and a perfect size for TV and film cold readings whilst maintaining the experience of a performance on a real stage/set. The size of the theater adds to the family, intimate feel of the workshop.
5. We hold on-camera workshops a couple of times a month.
